Adolf Glaßbrenner Elementary School

The Adolf-Glaßbrenner-Grundschule is an open all-day elementary school. The Diakonisches Werk Berlin-Stadtmitte eV has been in existence since 2006our cooperation partner for all-day care. Together we cultivate a school and leisure culture that is characterized by tolerance, a sense of responsibility, trust, willingness to perform and cultural diversity. The common learning of schoolchildren of German and non-German native language, of challenging and needy children is a natural element of our school life. Versatile qualified teachers work closely together and ensure the link between school and leisure time. Active parenting has a long tradition at the Adolf-Glaßbrenner-Grundschule: The participation of parents in numerous committees, bodies and working groups makes a significant contribution to the organization of school life. Our common goal is to enable the children to learn in a community with others and to give them the experience of their own performance and the joy of learning. It is important to us that the children can learn a lot with us, that they feel comfortable, get on well with each other and enjoy going to our school. The demands placed on our students are just as high as those placed on our pedagogues.
