General Hospital of Tianjin Medical University

The General Hospital of Tianjin Medical University was founded in 1946. It was one of the five large-scale central hospitals in the country at that time. At the beginning of its establishment, it came from Peking Union Medical College Hospital, Qilu Medical College, Liaoning Medical College, Guiyang Medical College and other famous domestic medical colleges and universities. The gathering of overseas medical experts and famous doctors has laid a solid foundation for the development of the hospital. After 70 years of development, the General Hospital of Tianjin Medical University has become the largest comprehensive tertiary Class A hospital and Tianjin Medical Center integrating medical treatment, teaching, scientific research, and prevention. 　　The hospital covers an area of ​​78,000 square meters, with a building area of ​​276,000 square meters and 2468 open beds.
