About company
The predecessor of the Henan Key Laboratory of Ophthalmology and Vision Science was the Henan Key Laboratory of Corneal Diseases. It was one of the first provincial key laboratories approved by the Henan Provincial Department of Science and Technology in the medical field of our province. After years of construction, accumulation and development, the laboratory has achieved certain results. In March 2017, the laboratory academic committee was re-elected and the first meeting of the second session was held to demonstrate and establish three key research directions of the laboratory, namely, the pathogenesis and prevention of corneal disease and ocular surface disease, and retinal disease damage. The mechanism and prevention research and the mechanism and clinical translation research of new ophthalmic drugs. At the same time, it is suggested that with the expansion of research fields, the laboratory should be renamed as "Henan Provincial Key Laboratory of Ophthalmology and Vision Science", and it has been approved by Henan Provincial Health and Family Planning Commission and Henan Provincial Department of Science and Technology.
