In 2004, SAAD Tours started its first involvement in the Responsible Tourism by developing the MAWASSEM Trips series, promising a unique experience which combines a culinary and shopping expedition with a heritage tour, all in a beautiful, natural and rural setting. The series aim to provide the Lebanese public and destination seekers with trips combining cultural, educational and nature experiences, while promoting economic development in the rural Lebanon. With the changing of the seasons, MAWASSEM offers different trips and activities which maximize the enjoyment of seasonal offerings: fruits and vegetables picking, jam and honey making, olive picking and virgin olive oil pressing, preparation of Lebanese provisions "Mounet", and much more. Activities will focus on Lebanon’s best specialty towns. Trips are educational and fun for adults and children.
