CHALCO Qingdao International Trading Co., Ltd.(hereinafter called”Chalco Trading Qingdao”) as a member of CHINALCO(Aluminium Corporation of China), is a significant window for CHINALCO towards the domestic and global market. As a state-owned enterprise with 90.5 % equity owned by China Aluminum International Trading Co., Ltd. (hereinafter called “CHALCO TRADING” as a member of CHINALCO)and 9.5 % equity owned by Shandong Aluminium Co. Ltd. (as a member of CHINALCO) , Chalco Trading Qingdao was incorporated in Qingdao city in January 2012 with CNY85.24 million registered capital. Chalco Trading Qingdao is authorized to take full responsibility of the overseas market development &management, sales and after-sales service of CHINALCO alumina chemicals, the imports of overseas bauxite required by CHINALCO subsidiaries such as Chalco Shandong ,Chalco Henan, Chalco Zhongzhou, etc. and the procurement of importing coal for Chalco's captive power plant, exporting Aluminum alloy and import other Non-ferros metal, ore and concentrates. Originating from Shandong Aluminium Import & Export Co.,Ltd. (before Feb 2002) to China aluminum International Trading Co., Ltd. Shandong Branch (dated Feb 2002), further to Chalco Shandong International Trading Co., Ltd. (dated Oct 2002), Chalco Trading Qingdao was established in July of 2012.
